Hi! I'm Javi.
I was born in Córdoba, in the south of Spain, and spent more than ten years living, working and traveling around the world: the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, Kenya and many more places.
I cycled the US West Coast with my surfboard, paraglided over New Zealand and dived under a glacier in Iceland. Before teaching I was a water sports instructor: that's where I learned to explain things clearly, to read people quickly and to see that everyone learns in a different way.

What happens in the trial class?
It's a 25-minute class to get to know each other. We chat for a while, I see where your Spanish is at and you tell me what you need. With that, I put together a plan tailored to you.
How long are the classes?
50 minutes.
How will we work?
With a plan made for you, based on your goals, your level and your pace. I teach you what you need to speak in the present, past and future, and we practice by speaking from the very first class.
How soon will I see results?
It depends on your starting point and how much you practice, but you'll be speaking from the first class. Many of my students feel comfortable having conversations after just a few classes.
What kind of Spanish do you teach?
Spanish from Spain: the Spanish spoken on the street, with its expressions and culture. I was born in Córdoba, so I also know the Andalusian accents well.
